BRIDGE BHARAT | TURNING TOWARDS VOL. 1
5 December - 17 January 2026 Pulp Society, New Delhi
Pulp Society is delighted to present Turning Towards Vol. 1, a group exhibition in collaboration with Bridge Bharat. The exhibition is on view at B-247, Okhla Phase 1 in New Delhi from 5 December through 17 January, 2026.
Turning, Towards is a creative passage where India’s many painting traditions meet the language of contemporary design. It seeks to shape a new visual vocabulary that is born from heritage and guided by imagination.
Rooted in the rhythm of material, motif, and memory, the programme studies the spirit of legacy art forms and reinterprets them into intimate, modular compositions that speak of both past and possibility.
Anchored in heritage craft and informed by design thinking, each collection emerges through dialogue between Bridge Bharat, artists, designers, and craftspeople. This confluence of research, intuition, and experiment results in a body of collectible artworks that honour tradition while turning towards the future.
Windows & Frames, the first volume of Turning, Towards, brings together three distinct Indian art traditions — Bhil, Miniature, and Pichwai each reinterpreted through the lens of framing, scale, and abstraction.
Each artwork becomes a fragment of a larger vision, a window into vast cultural worlds contained within intimate spaces. Within these frames, geometry, texture, and colour come together to hold space, balance form, and reimagine meaning.
This series becomes a play, an interaction, and a celebration. Rather than reinventing, it seeks to highlight and emphasise existing themes from traditional practices within a contemporary frame, transforming the idea of “windows and frames” into wall-mounted artworks that carry heritage into the present.
