Pulp Society is delighted to present Whispers Of The Forest, a group exhibition in collaboration with Gondwana Art Project.
In the heart of the forest, stories have always lived. They travel through patterns of lines and dots, through motifs that echo rivers, trees, animals, and spirits. They are passed down from one hand to another, from memory into paint, and from folklore into form. At its core, this exhibition is about storytelling.
Rooted in Gond, Bhil, and Warli traditions, these artists' practices carry forward the legacy of communities who have shaped their worlds in vibrant color and rhythm. Yet, they do not remain in the past as they shift, transform, and reimagine themselves in dialogue with contemporary life, and the nuances of modernity. These bodies of work hold within them the spirit of the land.
This exhibition is a celebration of living traditions. It reminds us that heritage is not something to be preserved in silence, but something that continues to grow, adapt, and thrive, an inheritance carried forward as vision for the future.
