JASJYOT SINGH HANS

Hans is an illustrator, drawer, and dreamer. He is unendingly inspired by an explosive mix of fashion, music, neon, and pop culture. He has a constant regard for things past, and a voracity for all that is current. His work chronicles themes of body image, sexuality and self love. 

He studied animation film design at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad; and has an MFA in Illustration Practice from Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore. He has worked with clients like Google, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Vogue India,  AD India, Sabyasachi Couture, and NorBlackNorWhite; and his work, or his practice has been featured in The Voice of Fashion, The CUT, and Platform Magazine among others. He has shown his works Superchief Gallery, NY; Paradigm Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; Mortal Machine Gallery, New Orleans, LA; among others.

The artist lives and works in Chicago.
