Rajat Sodhi and Christoph Klemmt are partners at architectural studio Orproject.

Rajat Sodhi received his diploma from the AA in London in 2007 and the DRL masters in 2009.

He has worked with 1-to-One for Herzog & de Meuron, Foster + Partners, Morphogenesis

Architecture Studio, and Le Groupe Arcop. He has lectured, and given workshops at the

Architectural Association, University of Westminster, and the Indian Institute of Technology in

New Delhi. His interest lies in developing computational geometry, and exploring material

formations inspired by nature’s inherent optimizations.


Dr. Christoph Klemmt graduated from the Architectural Association in London in 2004 and

received his PhD from the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He has worked for Zaha Hadid

Architects for several years and is the Assistant Professor at the Department of Design, Art,

Architecture and Planning at the University of Cincinnati, where he researches and teaches

computational design and robotic fabrication. He has lectured and given workshops at the

Architectural Association, Nottingham University, the University of Wuppertal, AA Visiting

School, Tsinghua University and Tongji University.


Orproject is an architecture and design practice setup in 2006 with offices in London, Beijing

and New Delhi. Our work explored advanced geometries with an ecologic agenda, the

integration of natural elements into the design results in an eco-narrative. For more

Sodhi has been AD 100 (Architectural Digest India) architect for a few years; has designed the

Rimzim Dadu show for Art x Fashion for Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (2022), among many

others. Multiple works by them (Orproject) have been honoured by the Architizer A+ Awards.

Their work has also been exhibited at the Time Space Existence, curated by Global Art Affairs

Foundation, Palazzo Mora, Biennale di Venezia, Venice (2016); Digital Infiltration, curated by

DADA, 751 D-Park, Beijing (2013); 1.618 Sustainable Luxury, Palais De Tokyo, Paris (2009);

among many others.


Their work has been featured, and written about in the national and international press

extensively, including inclusions in academic, and other books, and publications.
