Recording Room is a set of three fictional comics loosely  based on my conversations with local residents, mostly women, of Sheoganj (Rajasthan), which is my paternal hometown. These ongoing conversations and research led to the development of an animation film ‘Avaar Navaar Chhoriyaan/ Every Now and Then Girls...’  in 2025, which I co-created with Shivi Bhatnagar. I am currently in the process of developing many more short comics around these very engaging and often electric conversations! I hope to eventually put them all together as a part documentary - part fiction, Sheoganj anthology.
