Zibbl Z3 — Art of Goa / Artist Cheque Book
This zibblet has been released as an artist cheque book. Based on the theme, Art of Goa, this edition has 7 artists who have showcased their unique art styles. We, zibblers Divya Desai & Chayne Lobo, have started this initiative to document who we think are the well-deserving, under-appreciated artists in Goa that need to be banked on. It uses the metaphor of a cheque book to show how we could check out the Art of Goa in various ways, turning a familiar financial tool into a quiet protest. Each cheque stands as a reminder that while art is celebrated, it is often not compensated. Please feel free to tear and share an artwork with a friend and to let the artists know that you bank on them for their art.

A Zibblet is product by zibbl. A zine + booklet, stitched together with voices, visuals, and quiet rebellion. Each Zibblet is a tiny world in your hands — raw, playful, soulful. To slow things down in the age of speed, to talk about the soul & emotion of Goa, to make things that no other publication would want to make. This is a multimedia zine collective, trying it's best to talk about stories with feeling.
Each zibblet would be released quarterly; after every three months. Next edition is on: May 2026
Zibblets aren’t mass-produced magazines. They’re small-batch, deeply personal, self-published keepsakes. A reminder that stories don’t need to shout to be heard. Your support towards these zibblets help us in:
- Sustaining this independent project without relying on ads or compromising our values.
- Explore new formats and media to create immersive, meaningful experiences.
- Allows us to travel far & wide to curate stories about Goa.
- Reach a stage where we can pay contributors fairly.
