PULP EDITIONS 2020

Pulp Society is very excited to present the first edition of the annual collaboration between Pulp Society, and Pulp Studio. The exhibition is on view at B-247, Okhla Phase 1 in New Delhi from 23 December, through 28 January, 2021. 

For the first edition of Pulp Edition, the artists choose to respond to the bearing this particular year has had on them. This year would go down in the collective history of the world, as one of the most tumultuous years. It has made everyone perceptive of others and accepting of their surroundings. Like most of us, the artists spent their time pondering and reflecting upon the new way of life, craving for some social interaction and touch, healing from some pained memories, making sense of the disturbing news from across the world, all while going about the days in a monotonous cycle of routine and habitude. In these prints, artists draw upon their intimate reflections, memories, news and emotions they have contended through the year.

Earlier this year, Pulp Society invited 10 artists with distinct vocabularies, to participate in the first ever volume of the Pulp Edition. While the year has been an education in negotiating physical boundaries, it has been a witness to the resurgence and strength of the unbounded mind. The posters, designed by the artists in their studios and produced in the facilities at Pulp Society, embody that very spirit of 2020. Each print will be available in a limited edition of 30.
